Doris Ann Palmer

Doris Ann Palmer, age 72, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016.  She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Ethel Holbrook; son, Billy Palmer; sister, Alice Johnson and her brothers, Douglas Westbrook, James Holbrook and Jackie Holbrook.

Doris is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kyle (Bill) D. Palmer of Suches; sister, Betty Howard of Cumming; brothers and sisters in law, Eddy Joe and Dorothy Holbrook of Cumming, David and Jean Holbrook of Cumming and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Johnny Padgett and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating.  Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
