Kenneth Lee Hayes

Mr. Kenneth Lee Hayes, 54, of Flowery Branch, passed away December 19, 2016.

A memorial service will be held on December 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. There will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to say a few words at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes was born on January 7, 1962 in Atlanta, GA. He was the son of the LeRoy “Gabby” Hayes and of Dorothy Louise Brooks Cantrell.  He was employed at Bitzer where he worked on the final assembly team.  He was a veteran that fought for his country.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his mother, Dorothy Cantrell of Cumming; father, LeRoy “Gabby” Hayes; sisters and brothers in law, Carolyn Winters (Lonnie) of Alpharetta, Susan Wilson (Charles) of Statham; brothers and sisters in law, Bryan Samples (Vicki) of Cumming, Michael Samples (Audrey) of Cumming, David Grafton (JoAnne) of Gainesville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Fund or to The Wounded Warriors.
