Elsie Mae Garrett Clark

Mrs. Elsie Mae Garrett Clark, 87 of Gainesville died Wednesday December 21, 2016.

A native of Union County, Mrs. Clark had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Martha Seabolt Garrett.  She was retired from Warren-Featherbone Company where she worked as a seamstress for 32 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Bramlett, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Harold Shubert, Gainesville;  3 grandchildren, Andrea Shoemaker, Jeff Shubert and Jimmy Kiser, all of Gainesville; 7 great grandchildren, Katie South, Dawsonville; Andrew and Ashley Shoemaker, Gainesville; Taylor and Brianna Shubert, Gainesville; Logan and Gracen Kiser, Gainesville; great-great grandchild, Addilyn Shubert, Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Jean Garrett, Gainesville; sisters, Bertha Powers, Dahlonega; Bessie Brown, Evelyn Shook, Vivian Conley and Shirley Carey, all of Blairsville.  A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rudolph Clark, sisters, Beulah Penland and Myrtle Collins, brother, Willis Garrett.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday December 23, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Chip Penland will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday December 22, 2016 from 4-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Center for Hope and Healing, 226 Main Street, SW, Gainesville, Ga. 30501.
