Michael Steve Phillips, age 65 of Jefferson, GA passed away Monday, December 26, 2016.
Mr. Phillips was the son of Annie Grace Nix Phillips and the late Thomas Roscoe Phillips. He is the widower of Pamela Crawford Phillips. He served his country in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Jeffery Phillips, Jefferson, Andrew (Misty) Phillips, Homer, Kelly Phillips, Jefferson; daughter, April Phillips, Savannah; special friend, Debora Stewart; two grandchildren, Noah Phillips and Levi Phillips.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Madison Street Baptist Church with the Rev. David Harbin and Rev. Gordon Crawford officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:30-2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-9 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
