Linda Satterfield Kinsey age 70 of Gainesville passed away Jan. 1, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kinsey was born in Gainesville to the late John Henry & Thersie Brock Satterfield. She graduated East Hall High School in 1965, and furthered her education at Lanier Tech pursuing an accounting degree. Mrs. Kinsey was baptized at a young age at New Holland Baptist Church in Gainesville, and was retired from Rite Aid as a manager. She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Conner.
Survivors include, son, John Kinsey of Gainesville, sons & daughters in law, Jeffrey & Stacey Kinsey of St. Mary’s, & Ralph & Misty Kinsey of Gillsville, daughters& sons in law, Lisa & Danny Atkins of Jefferson & Tammy & Jeff Gooch of Lula, brothers, Johnny Satterfield, Charles Satterfield, & Mike Satterfield all of Gainesville, sister Ruby Satterfield of Jefferson, 11 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and one on the way, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 4, 2107 at the New Holland Baptist Church with Dr. W. Terry Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
