Mr. Quinnion Willard Griffin, age 64, of 92 Robin Place, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the home.
A son of the late Luther and Amey Lee Sertain Griffin, he was born February 27, 1952 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived for the majority of his life. He loved to play the guitar, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a dedicated husband and father. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and in addition to his parents was preceded in death by a son, George Michael Griffin, brothers, Ray and Carter Griffin, and by a niece/daughter, Rebecca Arroyave.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Smith Griffin of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Matthew McAllister of Elberton, Ga. and Cindy and Buddy Mooney of Toccoa, six grandchildren, Shawn Mooney, Tony Mooney, Alivia Young, Justin McAllister, Megan McAllister, and Hannah McAllister, two great grandchildren, Hayden and Bryson Griffin, five sisters, Ollie Fowler of Anderson, S.C, Joette Roach of Seneca, S.C., Joyce Pitts, Barbara Manley, and Janice Pulliam all of Toccoa, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Griffin and Arvelene Griffin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017, 4:00 PM, at the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Matthew McAllister, Buddy Mooney, Mark Fowler, Timmy Griffin, Lamar Pitts, Jeff Pitts, Travis Pitts, and Tony Mooney.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Acree-Davis Funeral Home, 90 South Pond Street, Toccoa, Ga. 30577, in memory of Mr. Quinnion Griffin.
The family will be at the home on Robin Place, Toccoa, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service time on Monday.
Interment will be in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Quinnion Willard Griffin
