Joan Seagraves Hernandez age 66 of Gainesville passed away Monday Jan. 9, 2017 at her residence.
Ms. Hernandez was born July 19, 1950 to the late William Carlton & Sarah Ruth Graham Seagraves. She worked as a clerk at the Tadmore Grocery and was a member of the Blacks Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sheena Propes & Lucreda Addis, & brother, E.G. Seagraves.
Survivors include, son, Tim McCormick of Alto, daughters, Angela Osborne of Gainesville, & Ayla Hernandez of Gainesville, brothers, George Seagraves of Gainesville, J.W. Seagraves of Neese, & Wade Seagraves of Cleveland, sisters, Sarah Crowe of Cornelia, Alam Whitlock of Commerce, Jane Garrison of Commerce & Mary Phillips of Alabama, 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 11, 2017 at the Blacks Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday Jan. 11, 2017 from 10 am until service time at the church.
Arrangements are in the care of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce.
