Ruby E. Pruitt

Ruby E. Pruitt age 90 of Commerce passed away Sunday Jan. 15, 2017 at the Northridge Health & Rehab.
 
Mrs. Pruitt was born December 11, 1926 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Garnett & Zelda Baker Metcalf. She retired from Harmony Grove Mill and was of the Church of God Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hampton Pruitt, son, Jackie Marlow, daughters, Betty Sue Marlow, Dorothy Marlow, Margaret Mosley & Paulette Oatley, brothers, Jim & Larry Metcalf, sisters, Ethel Green, Mary Ann Roberts & Rachel Maddox.
 
Survivors include, sons & daughters in law, Ray & Jeanette Marlow of Kannapolis, NC, Bobby & Carolyn Marlow of Enochville, NC, Tony & Carol Marlow of Nicholson, Eddie & Wanda Marlow of Maysville, daughter & son in law, Brenda & Robert Yuhas of Danielsville, sister, Emma Ruth Ledbetter, of Winder, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  A number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 16, 2017 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Parks officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will be at the residence of her daughter Brenda Yahas in Danielsville, Ga.
 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. Monday Jan. 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
