Olive D. Thornton

Olive D. Thornton, 88 of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Northside Hospital Forsyth.  She was an active member of Cumming Baptist Church. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Thornton, Jr. and her parents, Jay S. and Pearl L Dees, she is also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Reynolds and Ann Humphrey.

She is survived by her children, Michael and Corinne Thornton,  Bob and Pam Thornton, Ken and Jennifer Thornton; 6 grandchildren, Mimi, Jay, Mandy, Rebecca, Joey, and Kyle; two great grandchildren, Cayden and Carter; nieces, Candy White, Donna Reynolds, and Laura Vickers; and nephew, Jerry Reynolds.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Cumming Baptist Church, Cumming, GA., interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Cumming Baptist Church.
