Mrs. Gayle Elizabeth Crawford Peters, age 68 of Audubon Place, Toccoa, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Stephens County Hospital.
 
A daughter of the late Benjamin and Frances Hardison Crawford, she was born May 30, 1948 in Hamet , CA having lived  most of her life in Dekalb County and the last 11 years in Toccoa. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Mt. Airy.
 
Survivors include her husband Roland Peters of the home, two daughters, Jessica Lewallen of Toccoa, Jeanette Tacka of Portland, Maine, son, Thomas Peters of Stockbridge, GA, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister, Lynn and Nedal Ibraham of Riverside, CA, two brothers, Dennis & Laurel Crawford of Twin Oaks, Idaho, Bryan & Brenda Crawford, Long Beach, CA.
 
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Dennis Crawford and the Reverend Mike Garroutte officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 3 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Gayle Crawford Peters.
