Brenda Joyce Hyames

Brenda Joyce Hyames, 77, of Cumming, GA passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Braselton, GA.  She was an avid Gardener and loved bird watching and cooking for her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Fright.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas E. Hyames of Cumming, GA; daughters, Marie Hyames Warner and Jim Gillespie of Flowery Branch, GA, Beth Joan and Mark McLaughlin of Morgantown, WVA; sisters, Priscilla Beale of Dahlonega, GA, Connie Thompson of Alpharetta, GA; brother, Dan and Charlotte Frajt of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Brant and Kate Warner, Laura McLaughlin, Jillian McLaughlin, Matthew McLaughlin, and Megan McLaughlin; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous  nieces and nephews and other relatives. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the McDonald and Son Chapel, Cumming, GA.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming, GA. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
