Carolyn Conner

Mrs. Carolyn Conner, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Steve Lewallan will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4 – 6 pm and 7 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Conner was born April 21, 1937 in Dawsonville, Georgia to the late Lee Wallace and Annie Bell Hulsey Redmond.  She was a homemaker and a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Linda Ivester and her granddaughter, Kimberly Edge.

Mrs. Conner is survived by her husband, Felton F. Conner, Jr. of Gainesville, her children, Gary & Louann Ivester of Gainesville, Greg Ivester of Gainesville, Robbie & Ricky Walden of Clermont and Tonya & Casey Thomason of Gainesville, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and her sisters, Martha James of Chestnut Mountain, Sue White of Palm Beach, Florida and Peggy Cantrell of Chestnut Mountain.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
