Jacquelyn Williams Gordon

Mrs. Jacquelyn Williams Gordon, age 89 of 197 Brittany Harbor South, Lavonia passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A daughter of the late Luther McKinley Williams and Florine Hall Williams, she was born December 31, 1927 in Cashiers, North Carolina having lived in Morrow, Georgia for a number of years and in Toccoa for the last 41 years.  She was employed as a cook at several restaurants.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Georgia Allison Gordon, Jr., a son and daughter, David Allison Gordon and Cheryl Diane Gordon.

Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Gordon of Lavonia; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Christie Gordon of Toccoa; four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Wilma Gordon of North Carolina; and a number of cousins.

The family will have a private graveside service on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Jacquelyn Williams Gordon.
