Juanita (Nee-Nee) Wimpy

Juanita (Nee-Nee) Wimpy, 59 of Durham, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 following a brief illness.

Juanita (Nee-Nee) was born November 13th, 1956 in Gainesville, GA to the late Wilson and Ruby Hunter.  Earlier in life she was employed in the poultry industry and also worked as a caregiver.  Over the years she was known as one who loved to cook and eat southern meals and would always greet her family and friends with a smile.

(Nee-Nee) was proceeded in death by her husband John Wimpy; parents, Wilson & Ruby Hunter,  sisters Mary, Martha, Joyce, Julie & Francis,  brothers Wilson Jr, Elijah (Sunny), and Bobby-Joe.

Juanita (Nee-Nee) is survived by her sons, John David (J.D) Wimpy & Henry Wimpy; sister, Thelma Blowe; brothers Edward (Cookie) Hunter & Randy-Jo Hunter,  grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church at 1:00 PM.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 noon - 7:00 PM.  Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
