Roger Lee Gravitt Sr

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 19, 2017 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Roger Lee Gravitt Sr., age 71 of Gainesville. Dr. Mike Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home Mr. Gravitt passed away Thursday March 16, 2017.

Mr. Gravitt was born in Hall County to the late Stuard Gravitt and Mattie Grace Anderson Gravitt Oliver. He served in the U.S. Army where he was one of the original members of the 2^nd Battalion 94^th Artillery in Vietnam. He was founder of Gravitt Heating and Air Conditioning. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gravitt and brother, Mike Gravitt.

Survivors include wife, Diane Roberts Gravitt, Gainesville,  son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Christina Gravitt, Gainesville, daughter and fiancé, Vickie Gravitt and Kevin Littlejohn, Gainesville, grandchildren, Michael and Toria Laughridge, Stuart Gravitt, Nora Gravitt, stepchildren, Tabitha and Glen Rider, Tonya and Shane Peck, Tammy Simmons, all of Gainesville, step grandchildren, Justin Smith, Emma Rider, T.J. Veasley, Grace McEachin, all of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Nancy Gravitt, Gainesville, sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma and Cecil Pruitt, Simpsonville, SC, Lucille and Harold Conner, Gainesville, Agnes McClure, Lula, Ruby Wallace, Silva, NC and many other nieces, nephews and special friends.
