Barbara Ann McDonald

Mrs. Barbara Ann McDonald, age 77, of Gainesville passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2017 and will lie-in-state from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Wayne Bryant will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDonald was born August 2, 1939 to the late G.C. & Hattie Grace Martin in Gainesville.  A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a member of Willing Workers Sunday School Class.  

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McDonald; son Mike McDonald; and great-grandson, Peyton Dale.  She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Cindy & Donald England of Oakwood and Mike & Kathy LeFevre of Flowery Branch; daughter, Jennifer McDonald-Dale of Gainesville; grandchildren, Amy McGinnis, Jordan LeFevre, Keely Reynolds, Jennifer McDonald-Dale, Jamie McDonald, Heather McDonald, Nichole McDonald and Tracy Pierce; great-grandchildren, Hannah Patterson, Dillion Patterson, Gavin Wooten, Grant Wooten, Drayton McGinnis, Fisher Tomlin LeFevre, Jayce LeFevre, Luca Reynolds, D. C. McDonald; brother & sister-in-law, Calvin & Linda Martin of Clermont; and sister, Evelyn Martin of Clermont.
