Jerry Lee Blalock

Jerry Lee Blalock, 73, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, GA. He was a member of North Roswell Baptist Church. He loved to read his bible and preach God’s word.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Blalock; daughter, Darlene Carter, and grandson, Joey Sweatman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 yrs, Betty Blalock of Dawsonville, GA; children, Randy and Becky Cater of Alpharetta, GA, Cleveland and Amy Carter of Dawsonville, Tina and Charlie Thomton, of Thomson, GA, Rita and Dwight Nelson of Cumming, GA, Angie and Randy Lynn of Homer, GA, Christy Johnson of Cumming, GA; brother Normand and Kathey Blalock of Dawsonville, GA, Walter and Janice Blalock of Dawsonville, GA. 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the McDonald and Son Chapel. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Baptist Church, Johns Creek, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Wednesday from 9:00 until service time.
