Edward Ronald Autry

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 30, 2017 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church for Edward Ronald Autry, age 68 of Oakwood. The Rev. Ricky Thrasher will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Mr. Autry passed away Sunday April 23, 2017.

Mr. Autry was born in Gainesville to the late Forrest Autry and Violet Suggs. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked for Kubota. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mert Autry.

Survivors include wife, Brenda Kay Autry, Oakwood, children and spouses, April Simmons (Mark), Clermont, Amy Truelove, Gainesville, Amanda Pelham (Cory), Flowery Branch, Ryan Mauldin (Tammi), Cleveland, Jayda Autry, Oakwood, Jazzmyn Autry, Oakwood, sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Mark Weaver, Gainesville, brother, J.D. Autry, Gainesville, 18 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
