Dave Joseph Reeves

Dave Joseph Reeves, age 42, of Royston, GA (formerly of Dahlonega, GA) passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Dave was of the Baptist faith, a Christian and loved the Lord.  He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time outside hunting, fishing and panning for gold.  He loved his family, especially his nephews as if they were his own sons.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Hattie Reeves and PJ and Louise Wehunt.

Dave is survived by his parents, Marie and Clinton Waters, Dahlonega and Bobby and Debra Wimpy Reeves, Dawsonville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Delton and Regina Waters, Dahlonega; nephews, Clint Waters, Aiden Wimpy and Nikolas Wimpy.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Dave are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. Jerry Whitlock will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 4 PM until 9 PM, and again on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service.
