Gordon Bernell (Bernnie) Watson

Gordon Bernell “Bernnie” Watson age 52 of Maysville passed away Friday May 5, 2017 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
 
Mr. Watson was born Nov. 23, 1964 in Atlanta to Peggy Jane Evans and the late William Bernell Watson. He owned and operated Watson Painting until he became disabled. He loved music and was a member of Montgomery Heights Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include, wife, Lisa Watson of Maysville, mother, Peggy Jane Evans, Winder, son, Bernell Gordon Watson of Maysville, daughters, Justina Patton of Jefferson, Breanna Watson of Athens & Juliana Watson of Maysville, brothers, Butch Evans & David Evans both of Winder, sisters, Febe Bradshaw & Edie Evans both of Winder, 6 grandchildren and a host of other family also survive.
 
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Dumas officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
 
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help in expenses.
