Joanne Warren Gauzens

Joanne Warren Gauzens, 64, of Lawrenceville, GA, daughter of Spencer and Martha Warren, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning May 6th surrounded by family.  She was an Atlanta native and a devout Christian who was the center of a loving, closely knit family. 

She is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Amy; Son, Matt; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Samantha and Mason.  She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Boone Roberts; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and B.J. Jennings; brother and sister-in-law, David and Mitzi Warren; as well as a score of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Faith and Family were foremost with Jo.  She also enjoyed a long and successful career that included the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and later continued at BellSouth where she retired in 2006.  After that, she focused on interests as varied as Wilton cake decorating certification, interior home decorating and managing many family reunions.

She made life at home a warm, loving setting for all of us.  Mere words cannot express our praise to God for sharing Jo’s gifts with us - we have received love, care and comfort beyond expression.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gauzens will be held on Thursday, May 11th, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Lovell officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
