Virginia Clark Butler

Mrs. Virginia Clark Butler, 88, of Clermont, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Memorial Park North Riverside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park North Riverside Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Butler was born on October 27, 1928 in Gainesville to the late Guy Clark and Estelle Gilstrap Clark. She was the owner of Butler Farms and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butler is preceded in death by her husband, James Butler and son, Lowell Butler.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her granddaughter, Wendy Ray (Mark) of Cleveland; grandson, Brian Butler of Clermont; great grandchildren, Seth Ray of Clermont, Morgan Grizzzle of Gainesville, Bethany Mabe of Clermont, Daylan Butler of Clermont and 5 great-great grandchildren.
