Ricky Allen Wilson

Ricky Allen Wilson, age 56 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on March 03, 1961, he was the son of Geraldine Mealer Wilson of Lula, Georgia & the late Iris Allen “Pete” Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a 1979 graduate of East Hall High School and a 2002 Phi Beta Sigma honor graduate of Brenau University. He worked as a Quality Manager with Pak-Lite, Inc. of Gwinnett. Ricky was a devoted son, loving husband, father, & Papa, but most of all, he was a faithful servant of Christ. He attended Northside Worship Center of Gainesville.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Betty Ledford Wilson, daughter, LeAnne Woodcock, grandson, Jasper Woodcock all of Cleveland, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Shirley Ann & Jeff Crider of Grand Isle, FL; niece, Brittany Boswell of Lula, GA; as well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday.
