Larry Lee Strickland

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Larry Lee Strickland, age 75 of Douglasville. Larry passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017, He was born in Hall County, Georgia on February 7, 1942 to the late Hoyt Strickland and Lila Jarrard Strickland and in addition is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Strickland. Larry will always be remembered for his quick wit and his ability to overcome his physical challenges from Cerebral Palsy by making the lives of those around him brighter.

He is survived by his brother,Paul Strickland, of Douglasville, as well as number of nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and additional relatives. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, June 2, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with interment following in Welcome Worship Center Cemetery.
