Dorothy Mae Peck Wehunt

Dorothy Mae Peck Wehunt, 74, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.

Born on July 26, 1942, in Gainesville, Mrs. Wehunt was the daughter of the late John Randolph Peck, Sr. and Winnie Mae Sears Peck. She was a homemaker and a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wehunt is preceded in death by her husband, Jewell C. Wehunt; brothers, Randolph Peck, Larry Peck and sister, Linda Joyce Peck.

Mrs. Wehunt is survived by her daughters, Joy Lewallen of Gainesville, Linda Rebello of Cumming; son, Jewell Wehunt, Jr. Panama City, FL; daughter, Emily Spivey of Ringgold; sisters, Brenda Cheek, Gladys Campbell, Carolyn White all of Gainesville, Lillian Attaway of Dallas, TX, Margaret Bennett of Gainesville, Patsy Ferguson of Flowery Branch, Elizabeth Howell of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tiffany Wehunt, Leila Barnett, Jeremy Wehunt, Sara Spivey, Jared Spivey, Jacob Spivey; great grandchildren, Chloe Wehunt, Jason Barnett, Jr., Katilyn Barnett, Taylor Wehunt  and a host of other relatives.
