Janet Sanders

Mrs. Janet Sanders, 66, of Gainesville Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Emory Healthcare of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Augusta, GA on May 11, 1951 to the late Hilton D. Johnson, Sr. and Lois Moxley Johnson.  Mrs. Sanders was a Bank Manager for SunTrust Bank at the Friendship Road location. Mrs. Sanders was of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband, Bill Sanders; daughter and son in law, Nicole Swoszowski (Chad) of Tuscaloosa, AL; daughter, Kristi Cain of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Judy Lamb (Ray) of Scottsville, KY; grandchild, Colton Swoszowski of Tuscaloosa, AL; step children, Candice Hornsby of FL, Joanna Martin of TN; step grandchildren, Abby Schaknowski of Gainesville, Lexi Hornsby of FL and a host of loving relatives and friends.
