James Harold McGinnis

James Harold McGinnis, age 67, of Forsyth County, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Harold was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he participated in Operation Red Hat. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Imogene McGinnis; brother, Jerry McGinnis; son-in-law, Kelly Gardner.

Survivors include his children, Michelle and Butch Hester of Cumming, Allen and Pam Cape of Cumming, Rhonda and Rhye Pinney of Florida, Rodney Cape of Dawsonville, Mia and John Redd of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Janie McGinnis of Alpharetta, Carroll and Sarah McGinnis of Dawsonville, Mary Sue McGinnis of Cumming; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 19^th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery at 1:30 pm. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
