Kathryn Matthews age 67 of Dawsonville, Ga. died Saturday July 1, 2017 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a sudden illness.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday July 6 at the Little Davenport Chapel, with the Rev. Barry Merritt officiating, interment will follow in the Center Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday July 5 from 6 to 8 pm.
Mrs. Matthews was born May 7, 1950 in Pendergrass, Ga. to the late Byron Brumbalow and Marie Wright, she was a self employed hairdresser for many years and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years,
