Christopher Hayward Broome

Mr. Christopher Hayward Broome, 47, of Gainesville, passed away July 2, 2017.

Funeral services are planned for Thursday July 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Brian Malcom, Reverend Earl Pirkle and Reverend Clack Stubbs will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Chris was born in Gainesville, GA on September 5, 1969 to Hayward and Bonnie (Roberts) Broome. He was an Eagle Scout and he was a former Hall County Sheriff’s Deputy. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Gainesville, GA. Christopher was saved and baptized at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo and Alma Roberts and Emory and Ethel Broome; two uncles, Mitchell Broome and Gerald Roberts and cousin, Deuce Roberts.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his brother and sister in law, Craig and Pam Broome; niece, Ansley Broome; nephew, Caleb Broome and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
