Dr. John Allen Yarbrough

Dr. John Allen Yarbrough, 58 of Clermont, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2017.

John was born in Montgomery, Alabama on January 12, 1959 to the late Mr. Robert Heath Yarbrough and the late Mrs. Wilma Brown Yarbrough.

John was a graduate of Columbia High School, Mercer University and the Medical College of Georgia. He was also President of the Southeastern Allergy Association, Georgia Allergy Association and Hall County Allergy Association.

John was the owner and physician at the Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Northeast Georgia for over 26 years. He was a charter member of Highlands United Methodist Church and a faithful member of Thursday night men’s group.

John was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Beth Yarbrough; his son Jayson Yarbrough and his wife Jessica Yarbrough; daughter Sarah Yarbrough and her fiancé Jon Van Holm; daughter Amy Miles and her husband Christian Miles; and granddaughter Emily Rose Yarbrough.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 15, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s honor to the Thursday Nights Men’s Group of the Highlands Methodist Church, 3678 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville, Georgia 30506.
