Martha Rolfe Seguin

Mrs. Martha Rolfe Seguin, age 81, of Buford passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at Buford Presbyterian Church with inurnment at 2:30 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  Pastor Cory Ingle will officiate.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Seguin was born August 7, 1935 to the late Alexander & Edna Walker in Barre, Vermont.  1957 she married her first husband and they relocated to Elk Grove, Illinois, where she was a Librarian for Admiral Byrd Elementary and an Administrative Assistant to the Director at the Alexian Brothers Medical Center.  Mrs. Seguin was an active member of the Buford Presbyterian Church, where she was a greeter.

Mrs. Seguin was preceded in death by her first husband of 43 years, Walter Rolfe; parents, Alexander & Edna Walker; and sisters, Jane Baily and Nancy Walker.  She is survived by her second husband of 11 years, Edmond Seguin of Buford; daughters & sons-in-law, Kathyn & Larry Lehnerz of Denver, Colorado and Nancy & David Lesslie of Gainesville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Stephenson of Gainesville, Alexandra (Danielle) Lesslie of Winder, Trevor Lesslie of Gainesville, Samantha (Clayton) Atkins of Loganville and Tabitha Lehnerz of Denver, Colorado ; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 nephews.
