Lander Sherrill Heaton

Mr. Lander Sherrill Heaton, age 72 of 108 Hill Place, Toccoa passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence.

A son of the late Guy and Geneva Fountain Heaton, he was born August 15, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chandler Heaton.

Survivors include cousins, Harlan Hulsey of Toccoa and Becky Bryant of Habersham County; long-time friend and caregiver, Kenneth and Ann Murray of Toccoa.

Memorial services will be Friday, July 28, 2017, 2 O’clock P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Flowers are to be omitted.  Memorials may be made to Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, 870 Bear Creek Road, Lavonia, Georgia  30553 in memory of Mr. Lander Heaton.
