Brenda Ayers Crocker

Brenda Ayers Crocker, age 68, of Homer, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Mrs. Crocker was born on November 3, 1948, in Henry County, Georgia; a daughter of the late Harry and Mattie Lee Lynch Ayers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Crocker. Mrs. Crocker was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jamie Smith of Homer; son, Todd Smith of Homer; brother, Dale Ayers; grandchildren, Mason Todd Smith and Alexis Hill; great-grandchild, Knox Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating. Interment will follow in Wade Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the funeral home.
