Mary Ruth Koons

Mary Ruth Koons age 71 of Madisonville, TN formerly of Maysville passed away July 22, 2017.
 
Mrs. Koons was born in Louisville, TN on Feb. 9, 1946 to Blanch Russell. She worked as an electrical engineer at Northern Telecom in Georgia, She was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Koons, and a son, Russell Lamar Koons.
 
Survivors include, son, Robert K. Koons of Madisonville, TN, daughter, Felicia A. Moon of Commerce, sister, Brenda Sue Hackler of Maryville, TN 6 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren also survive.
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday July 28, 2017 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm Thursday July 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
