Anita Simmons Drawdy

Mrs. Anita Simmons Drawdy age 60 of 126 Carmon Circle, Clarkesville passed away Saturday July 29, 2017 at the Oaks at Scenic View.

A daughter of the late Floy and Eula Murphy Simmons, she was born May 27,1957 in Toccoa, Georgia were she lived most of her life. She was employed with Milliken for 27 years and a member of Madison Baptist Church in Westminster, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Standridge.

Survivors include Mirinda McIntyre of Clarkesville, a son Brandon O’Barr of Westminster, South Carolina, four grandchildren Ariana Newkirk, Austin Newkirk, Trey Mashburn and Braxton O’Barr, two brothers Claybern Simmons and Allen Standridge of Toccoa, two sisters Cathy Pruitt and Alethia Jordan of Eastanollee.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 5, 2017 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 1 P.M. til service time.
