John David Padgett

John David Padgett, age 64, and a native of Cherokee County, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. He was owner of Padgett’s Body Shop, where he specialized in custom auto restorations. He was a lifelong guitar enthusiast, playing rock and blues  tunes, and building custom guitars. He was preceded in death by his father, John S Padgett.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Debra Jackson Padgett, mother, Sara Ball Padgett, son, David Andrew Padgett, all of Cumming, and brother, James Rickey Padgett of Oakwood.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12^th at 3:00 PM at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home beginning at noon until the hour of the service.
