Ester Smith

Ester Lee Smith, age 81, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017.Ester was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis H. Smith, Sr.; and parents, Joseph David and Olive Elizabeth Stroup.

She is survived by her children, Hoyt Jr. (Maggie) Smith of Canton, David Smith of Cumming, and Linda (Tim) Hill of Cumming; grandchildren, Gary Smith, Michael Smith, Adrienne (Thomas) Ross, Lindsay (Jordan) Griffin, Elizabeth Smith, Jeremiah (Sara) Beringer, Jessica (Mike) Blalock, and Jeanette (Brian) Martin; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Martin of Cumming; sister-in-law, Geraldine Ingalsbe of Roswell; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Roswell City Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
