James "Jay" Christopher Davis

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 27, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wards Funeral Home for James “Jay” Christopher Davis, 44, of Murrayville. Rev. John Dell will officiate. Interment will follow at Murrayville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Davis passed away August 23, 2017.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father, James C. Davis and sister, Beth Davis.
Survivors include mother and stepfather, Brenda and Doyle Self; grandmother, Pearl Phipps; brother, Wesley Hines; sister and brother in law, Teresa and Gary Finks; nephew, Aaron Finks; Aunt Maye, Rayland, OH.; and close family friend, Wallace Edge.
