Marjorie Lindsey White

Mrs. Marjorie Lindsey White, age 91, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. White; brothers, David Lindsey and Lee Lindsey; sister, Jessie Moon. Mrs. White is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Debra White, Lawrenceville, GA, Jerry and Gloria White, Winder, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Florence Elizabeth  and Norton Eberly, Gainesville, GA; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dottie Lindsey, Jasper, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. White was born September 2, 1925 in Springfield, OH. She was retired from Upton’s as a receiving clerk. Mrs. White was a member of Lawrenceville Church of God, where she sang in the choir. She also worked as a caregiver in nursing homes, and worked as well for Walmart. Mrs. White loved to travel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Delk officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
