Morris J. Sargent, age 76, of Conyers, GA formerly of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Cathy Stubblefield Sargent, Conyers, GA; daughter, Misty Green, Cumming, GA; grandchild, Max Green; sister, Sue Pickens, Braselton, GA; brother, Harvey and Joyce Sargent, Waleska, GA; brother-in-laws, Joe and Connie Stubblefield, Stockbridge, GA, David Stubblefield, McKee, KY; sister-in-law, Lesa and Tony Friday, Lawrenceville, GA. Mr. Sargent was born March 16, 1941 in Duluth, GA. He was a 1959 graduate of Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA, and a 1963 graduate of the University of GA with a bachelor’s degree. He was a retired supervisor from Sugar Foods Corporation after 41 years of service. He was of the Methodist faith. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 16, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
