Willie James Palmer

Willie James Palmer, 44, of Lula passed away on September 18, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Torch. Pastor Mike Franklin will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 9, 1972 in Gainesville he was the son of the late Elvin Palmer and of Lula Turpen Lawson. Mr. Palmer had previously worked at Oakwood Auto Auction and was a member of The Torch Church.

Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife, Karen Palmer of Lula; daughter, Samanthia Palmer of Lula; sons and daughters in law, James and Hailey Palmer of Gillsville, Jacob and Brittany Palmer of Gainesville; grandchildren, Hunner Palmer, Jayden Lee Palmer; brother and sister in law, Jerry and Regina Turpen of Clarkesville.
