Veronica Edna Byers

Mrs. Veronica Edna Byers age 93 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Tuesday September 26, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday September 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memoria Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Byers was born on January 20, 1924 in Bronx, New York to the late Thomas Scanlon and Edna Whitten Scanlon. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Walter Kenneth Byers.

            Veronica is survived by her children, Christine Sanchez and Paul Sanchez, Dorothy Lorenze and Kenneth Lorenze, Patti Byers, Barbara Miller, Cynthia Byers McCullough and Frank McCullough, Jeffrey Byers, Michael Byers and Julie Byers. Also survived by her grandchildren; Tara Lorenze Howard and Neil Howard, Megan Lorenze Merchant and Brandon Merchant,  Caitlyn Lorenze and Won Kim, Tessa Lorenze Field and Hamo Field, Andy Epstein and Michelle Epstein, C.K. Epstein and Amanda Epstein, Billy Epstein and Danielle Epstein, Elizabeth Miller Youngblood and David Youngblood, Caroline Miller, Margaret Miller, Alison Maffucci and Chris Mafucci, Jonathan Stanford and Heather Stanford, Tyler Stanford, Olivia Griddle and Scott Egan, Jordan Ledford and Matthew Ledford, Jessica Diaz, James Byers and Lauren Byers, Samantha Stamey and Ryan Stamey, Dustin Byers, Emily Byers.  She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Owen Howard, Jule Howard, Henry Merchant, Spencer Merchant, Clara Field, Lily Epstein, Aria Epstein, Trevor Epstein, Kaleb Epstein, Ryleigh Epstein, Anna Epstein, Maison Epstein, Billy Epstein Jr., Drew Epstein, Ava Epstein, Abby Epstein, Ana Epstein, Alec Epstein, Colleen Youngblood,  Declan Youngblood,  Henry Maffucci, Cadence Stanford, Emersyn Stanford, Silas Stanford, Nathan Criddle, Kaylee Aycock, Karter Aycock, Kooper Ledford,  Levi Stevens, Sara Stevens, Noah Diaz, James Byers Jr., Jack Stamey, and Jett Stamey.
