Joseph (Joe) Clinton Sweetman

Joseph (Joe) Clinton Sweetman, 61 of Gainesville, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Joe was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to William and Betty Sweetman. He married Patricia Sweetman on July 28, 1978 in Ft. Lauderdale. Patricia Sweetman was the love Joe’s life. Joe was devoted husband and father. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and trips to the beach.

Joe was the owner of Sweetman’s Plumbing Service for 22 years and had his Master’s Plumbing License in both Georgia and Florida. Joe was renowned for his knowledge and genuine kindness.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brother William Sweetman; and sisters LeAnne Swatek and Eileen Gardner.

Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia Sweetman; son Chris Sweetman; daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Carney; grandchildren Paisley Carney and James Carter Sweetman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until funeral hour.
