Grace P. Tinsley

Grace P. Tinsley, 89, of Alpharetta passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who knew no strangers.  Grace was devoted to her family and her church, Philadelphia Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and made the best biscuits in the world.  Grace was a giving person, always willing to share with those in need.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Marvin J. Tinsley; children, Linda and Benny Biddy of Dawsonville; James and Rhonda Tinsley of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jeremy Biddy, Mark Biddy, Kelly Williams, Sarah Tinsley; great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Ashlyn, Brittany, Hunter, Jeb, R.J., Gracie, Makalah, Teeb, Tinsley; niece, Roxanne Johnson, and nephew, Robert Bordeaux.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Sanders and Rev. Mark Biddy officiating.  Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
