Rhonda F. Allen

Obituary Date: Saturday, September 30, 2017
Rhonda F. Allen passed away on September 30, 2017. She was born on December 16, 1950 to the late Charles E. Allen and Audrey Westmoreland. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Allen.
Rhonda is survived by sister Joy Kinsey of Helen; Nieces and nephews Mathew (and Alexis) Allen, Mayer Arizona, John Henry Allen of Rome Georgia, Kayla Culpepper (and Matt), Columbus Georgia, Daniel Allen (and Caroline) of Dawsonville Georgia, and Kinsey Allen (and Dan Moss) of Colorado. Also two grand nephews, Chase Simpson and Llewyn Moss.
Rhonda had several careers, from specialty welding, to long distance trucking, even owning a small restaurant for a while. Her last career for many years before retiring was with Home Depot in Canton and Blairsville where customers would walk in and look for her specifically - she would brighten their day and help them with anything from the smallest screw to specialty windows and doors, and get to know them as friends. As an independent woman, she had learned to turn her hand at almost anything  before giving up and asking for help. Rhonda was an animal lover and at one time raised rabbits and chickens, and is leaving behind two special pets, Ami and McKinsey.
Rhonda had unmatched love, generosity and devotion to her friends and family. Never afraid of offering advice or opinions, she had a way of doing so that expressed a genuine love and concern. She loved her family and friends without hesitation.
Her wishes were for cremation and no service is planned. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held in the near future.
We wish to thank the staff of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Lifelink for their care of Rhonda and her family in the last few days. They could not have been more accommodating and considerate.
