Margie Louise Black

Mrs. Margie Louise Black age 82 of Murrayville passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at North East Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend James Kanaday will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Black was born February 20, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Lewis O’Shields and Julie Brackett O’Shields. She was a retired house keeper, and was a member of Free Chapel. She is preceded in death by her husband George Black, parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Margie is survived by her son Wendell Black of Murrayville, daughter and son-in-law Janice and Farrel Martin of Murrayville, sister-in-law Rose O’Shields of Gainesville, special friend Patricia Garrett as well as many special nieces, nephews and friends.
