Barbara Ann Defoor Brock

Mrs. Barbara Ann Defoor Brock, age 82, of Ridgeland Road in Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A daughter of the late Arthur E. and Anne Daniel DeFoor, she was born April 3, 1935 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church.  She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Brock in 2009, a son, Dana Brock, granddaughter, Jana Bailey, brother, Harold Defoor and sister, Emma Bell Ivester.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and David Bailey of Toccoa; grandchildren, Brandie and Jason Wilson and Jessica and Rusty Brooks; great-grandchildren, Macie Wilson, Brayden Wilson, Levi Brooks and Emma Brooks; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Helon DeFoor of Toccoa; two sisters, Hylon Singleton and Geraldine Dickson of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 11:00 a.m., in the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Doug Dickson and The Reverend Brandon Crunkleton officiating.   The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Rusty Brooks, Jason Wilson, Woody Dyer, Roy DeFoor, Jerry Dickson and Brian Dickson.

Interment will follow in the Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Barbara Ann DeFoor Brock.
