Johnnie West Glaze

Johnnie West Glaze, age 93, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Ora West; sister, Wylena West Brown; brothers, J. D. West, Jack West, and Jimmy West.  Mrs. Glaze is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tommy H. and Bonnie Glaze, Jr, Buford, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Joanne G. and William Butler, Cumming, GA, Gwen Jones, Sugarland, TX; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Deanna West Pruitt, Buford, GA, Helen West Chapman, Daytona Beach, FL; many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Mrs. Glaze was born on July 3, 1924 in Buford, GA. She was a 1940 graduate of Buford High School. She was retired from Southern Railroad as data input and supervisor, and she had also worked for Internal Revenue Service. Mrs. Glaze was a member of Scott Blvd. Baptist Church, Decatur, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Fountain officiating. Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
