Betty Sue (Barnes) Thomas

Mrs. Betty Sue (Barnes) Thomas, age 81 of Clermont, passed on October 16, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. 

Betty Sue was born on March 27, 1936 in Hall County to the late Fred and Fannie Hill Barnes. She was the lunchroom manager at White Sulphur Elementary School and was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Earl Thomas; daughter Susan Greenway; son Richard Thomas; daughter Donna Kelley; granddaughters Cara Whiting, Sheena Patterson and Kenzie Kelley; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Cool Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Kevin Woody will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
