Ruby Jean Roberts, age 85 of Commerce, GA passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017.
Born on Jan. 15, 1932 in Carnesville, GA, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Ed and Maebelle Brock. She was the widow of Stanley Roberts, a seamstress at Wrangler, member of Victory Chapel Holiness Church and is preceded in death by sons, Jerry Roberts and Jeffrey Roberts.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Jody Rogers, Clarkesville, Julie and Donnie Reynolds, Commerce; brother, Calvin Brock, Banks Co.; sister, Lutrelle Parr, Commerce; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 pm Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Swayne Carlan and Rev. Curtis Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
